RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7 spoilers follow.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7 has confirmed guest judge Cameron Diaz will be coming out of retirement for the show.

Tea There’s Something About Mary star has stayed away from the spotlight since 2018, but is making a rare public appearance on the new season of drag race alongside fellow guests Naomi Campbell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Diaz is a major drag race fan, so it’s not much of a surprise a season full of former winners would lure her out of retirement. Speaking to Entertainment Weeklythe cast were full of excitement about her appearance.

“She looked beautiful up close in Untucked, and she seemed like a fan of the show,” Trinity the Tuck explained. “Some judges that come on don’t seem to be present, but she was very knowledgeable. She knew who we were, she knew what to look for, she was there, and she looked stunning. She was super nice.”

Monét X Change referenced Diaz’s career by quipping that “there’s something about Cameron”, whereas Jaida Essence Hall revealed it was personally touching to see the actress on the drag race judging panel.

Cameron had backed Jada to win her season during an Instagram Live appearance with Saturday Night Live‘s Leslie Jones back in 2020.

“Leslie [asked her], ‘Who do you think is going to win?’ and she said, ‘No question: Jaida.’ Gagged,” Jaida remembered. “Then she showed up and I could tell how invested she was. We have a judge who’s not going to be giving fluff. She knew every one of us, our journey, our personal struggles on the show.”
